Adult Ministries

At Bethesda Church, we have many adult ministries that you can be involved in:

    Worldwide Missions Involvement
    A Growing Prison Ministry & Bible Correspondence School
    Sunday School for all ages including adults at 9:00 am each Sunday:

    Berean Class – Teacher: Gary Johnson       

    This class will begin a study on the Gospel of Matthew this fall. They meet in the Chapel and are looking forward
              to the ongoing study through this important book. Matthew takes great pains to associate the person and work
              of Jesus Christ as Messiah in clear fulfillment of Old Testament prophecies. This promises to be a rich study in
              the life and ministry of Jesus with many applications to the life of the believer.  

    Ambassador Class – Teacher: Ken Mueller 

    Our class will be concluding our study of the book of I Timothy through the course of this fall and our intention
           is to move on to II Timothy and then to the book of Titus. We meet in the Choir Room which is behind the front
           of the sanctuary. These pastoral epistles have critical teaching for us as members of the Body of Christ that is
           very encouraging as we grow in our walk with the Lord.

    Gospelite Class – Teacher: Paul Pedro 

    This class will be studying through the book of Hebrews this fall. This class meets in the Fireside Room,
           which is the closest room to the gym. Though written as a lesson to the Jews, this book has profound
           implications for our understanding of our Savior and the completed work at the cross for our Salvation. 
           You will enjoy this verse by verse study of this important text of scripture. 

    Young Adults – Teacher: Brent Befus 

    We are a group of young adults, ages 18 to 30, who want to deepen our relationship with Christ and each other.
           We are a casual group that discusses the Bible and the difficulties we face in life. We welcome you wherever
           you are in your journey through life. We meet on Sunday’s at 3:30 pm in various homes. You can find out more

    Student Ministries – 7th & 8th Grade Teacher: Dale Dugan 

    Sunday Morning Worship Service at 10:15 am each Sunday
    Adult Choir and Musical Ensembles
    Small Groups for Study and Sharing, for Men and Women and Families
    Wednesday Night Bible Study & Prayer Meeting
    Family Camp (Labor Day Weekend)
    Various Adult Retreats
